3 young men face serious violent crimes charges

Three arrests have been made in the shooting death of a teenager that took place in Massachusetts last year. Three young men are charged in connection with the crime, which took the life of a teen in the days after his high school graduation. The young man was fatally shot upon answering his door. After a long investigation, police claim they have located the men responsible for his death. All three face serious violent crimes charges, and their futures hang in the balance.

One man is 18 years of age, and the other two are in their early 20s. All are charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. As of the time of this report, there is no information available as to how investigators linked the men to this crime. None of the accused lived in the town where the shooting took place, and all are currently residents of a nearby state.

One of the men recently pleaded guilty in response to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespassing, theft and conspiracy. Another was arrested for theft, and given probation as well as an order to pay restitution. Those incidents will likely factor into how the prosecution presents arguments in the current case.

As these three young men move forward, presenting a strong criminal defense is critical to how their futures will unfold. They may offer very different responses to the Massachusetts violent crimes charges, depending on their role in the events that led to this fatal shooting. At least one of the men has entered a plea of not guilty in response to the murder charge.
